A study released today by Automotive Retailing Today (ART), a coalition of major automobile manufacturers and dealer organizations, found there are an estimated 104,803 vacant positions available at new car dealerships in the U.S. ranging from administrative and management to service and sales.
The report also found that auto dealers hired more than 15,000 military veterans in the last 24 months since ART joined forces with the U.S. military to promote dealership hiring of recent military veterans.

As Hal notes, there are openings in every part of the country, which is great. This is also a good example of recognizing the full breadth and potential of a career field. Look at the variety of positions - they each require extremely different skill sets.
